Managing AssignPro app updates.

AssignPro can check Licence Hub for a newer protected package, download it inside the app, verify it, then hand the final install to macOS Installer.

When an update is ready

If Licence Hub has a newer package for your activated Mac, AssignPro shows an update banner in the app and the Updates... menu opens the dedicated Updates screen.

The banner is non-blocking. You can keep working, or open Updates when you are ready.

The Updates screen uses friendly release notes so customers know what changed before installing.

Install from inside AssignPro

  1. Open AssignPro > Updates....
  2. Choose Install Update.
  3. AssignPro downloads the protected package from Licence Hub.
  4. AssignPro verifies the SHA-256 hash before it offers the install step.
  5. Choose Quit AssignPro and Install Update.

Ready To Install means the package downloaded successfully and passed the integrity check.

Finish in macOS Installer

macOS may ask for Touch ID or your password before replacing the app in Applications. This is normal for an installer package. Your Licence Hub activation stays in place for the next launch.

Choose Install in macOS Installer.

Close Installer when the installation is complete.

If something does not look right

  • If the download is interrupted, run Check Again and install later.
  • If verification fails, AssignPro deletes the bad download and keeps your current app access intact.
  • If the app says it is up to date, Licence Hub is not offering a newer customer package for this Mac.
