Open Licence Information
- Open AssignPro.
- Choose AssignPro in the menu bar.
- Choose Licence Information....
The screen shows your licence status, account name, expiry date, last check-in, and whether this Mac has the active Licence Hub activation.
Refresh your licence
Use Refresh Licence when you have renewed, changed account state, or support has made an activation change. AssignPro talks back to Licence Hub and updates the local signed grant only when the server confirms the licence is still allowed for this Mac.
Deactivate this Mac
- Open Licence Information....
- Choose Deactivate This Mac.
- Confirm the action.
- Wait for Licence Hub to confirm deactivation before deleting or moving the app.
After the server confirms deactivation, AssignPro clears local Direct Download activation state and the portal can return the seat to available. Deleting the app or deleting local licence files cannot reliably notify the website after the fact.
If the licence expires
On launch and foreground checks, AssignPro asks Licence Hub whether the stored activation is still allowed. If the subscription has ended, protected app access locks until the account is renewed or support clears a test state. Once renewed, open Licence Information and refresh.
What to remember
- Licence Hub is the source of truth for Direct Download access.
- One individual licence activates one Mac at a time.
- Use Deactivate This Mac before replacing or wiping a Mac.
- Support can reset an activation when the old Mac is gone.
